Thinking about buying a house? First time home buyer? Worried about the market or if your offer will stand out?
I get it. I’ve been there as a home buyer a number of years ago.
The best and simplest advice I have is to look at the big picture and then work on the smaller goals bit by bit. Writing a strong offer with your real estate agent is a very important step that you should be a part of.
The purchase price (actual dollar offer) is important, but it’s not the only factor. Dates, deadlines, contingencies and yes a letter to the seller can all be part of a winning offer.
Another great item? A pre-approval letter from your lender.
All of these should be lined up, prepped and ready to rock by your real estate agent. If not or it seems that some of the items are after thoughts? You may want to get more involved OR pause the whole process and find an agent that’s a better fit for you.
